The Heart Of Columbine

About 'The Heart Of Columbine':

After the shooting on april 20, 1999 Holocaust survivor
Gerda Weissmann Klien offered to visit and help the Columbine
community with the healing process. Her offer was accepted,
and she addressed students, staff, and community members in
January 2000. Her message was 'Good can and must emerge from
tragedy', and that they have the power to make it happen.

One of the ways Columbine has decided to help is to work to
fight hunger in the denver metro area.
