On October 1, 1997 Luke Woodham killed two classmates. He also wounded seven other students. Before Killing at school Luke killed his mother (Mary Woodham)... She was beaten with a baseball bat and stabbed to death. Woodham was charged on June 1, 1998 in the death of his mother. He was found guilty and charged June 12, 1998 for the deaths of the 2 classmates Luke Woodham admits to killing classmates but did not recall killing his mother. |

(Thanks Misti!!) Here is more on what she had to say: I also found that this young man was very disturbed, Two weeks before he killed classmates, Luke tortured and drowned his Shih Tzu named Sparkle. Luke was a self-proclaimed nerd. He found acceptance with a group of Satanist boys who lead a cult called the Kroth. The guys in the cult, Luke included, liked wearing black and reading Nietzsche. They studied Latin and admired the work of Adolph Hitler, and wore trench coats. Some say it was cult leaders Justin Sledge and Grant Boyette who acted as the Manson programmers in Luke's mind. Shortly after Luke joined the devil worshiping club, he was part of a black magic seance which placed a curse on a popular student the Kroths all hated. One day after the curse, the student, Rocky Brewer, was run over and killed by a car! It's been rumored Justin and Grant brainwashed Luke into annihilating his girlfriend after she broke up with him. the two boy's were charged with accessories but charges later were droped. Luke had also light his dog on fire and threw her body into a lake as if that weren't sickening enough, a couple weeks later he beat his mothers receptionist with a baseball bat, shattering her jaw, then stabbed her eleven times with a butcher knife. Her autopsy report says she bled slowly to death |
